What each layer does
Devices
Sensors, trackers, controllers, gatewaysThe physical edge of the platform — sensors, trackers, controllers and gateways that produce or consume data in the field. NETNOVA devices are designed for harsh industrial environments and long battery life.

Gateways
Protocol conversion, edge processingGateways aggregate device traffic, perform protocol conversion and run first-pass edge processing. They are the bridge between constrained field devices and the broader network.
